Mutual is the largest and fastest growing dating app for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS/Mormon)! Mutual is a place where single members of the church can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other single Mormons beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location, mutual friends, and interests you share in common with potential matches. The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. Everyone is required to sign in through Facebook to ensure people are who they claim to be, and all profiles get reviewed by one of our team-members before entering our community. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone. In the words of Brigham Young, "This is the place." MUTUAL UP - MORE FEATURES Upgrade to Mutual Up for access to exclusive new features, including: Ward Hop to change your location and match around the world, Unlimited Double Takes to undo past swipes, Ninja Mode to go invisible to everyone except people you swipe up on, More Filters to filter by height, and Daily Notes to stand out and increase your chance of matching. ------------------- Mutual is free to use, but if you choose to purchase Mutual Up, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. • Great LDS Dating App

    By HappySingleMom
I love this app. It’s great for connecting with other LDS members. I gave it a 3 star rating though because periodically the app will completely STOP working altogether. I can’t refresh it. Rebooting my phone doesn’t even help. I have to completely delete it from my phone and download it again. It’s super frustrating for someone who is too busy with just home life to remember what my user ID is. Let alone my password. I’m getting tired of resetting it every few days.
  • So annoying

I literally never write reviews but I’m so annoyed by this app. It can be fun and has good intentions but it’s so buggy I find it pointless. If I want to use it I have to delete it and re-download it almost everyday. So dumb.
  • Don’t Get Mutual Up

    By LDSBuffalonian
It says that it’ll be (Monetary Amount) per month, but it makes you pay in full upfront without alerting you. Terrible.
  • Subscription

Bought the subscription, wouldn’t let me see who “liked” me... I don’t know what I paid for..
  • 5 Stars, but here’s why it isn’t 6 ;)

The only way to communicate with people, but really communicate, is throwing your Instagram/Facebook/Snapchat/Twitter handles, or paying the hefty fee of $8/week or $60 ($64 with tax... smh) for 6 months for a “premium” like feature. You wanna see who swiped up on you? Pay the fee. You wanna communicate with the baddies that your seein’? Hop on a different app and look ‘em up. I get you need money, but please lower the amount. That’s silly.
  • One may speculate

Although I applaud the purpose of the Mutual app, it falls unsurprisingly short of achieving said purpose for more reason than one. It’s array of glitches and lack of in app structure aludes that development was rushed, presenting a sub par product. That being said, the app’s decision to do all forms of payment through the Apple store deceives the user when they cancel their account continuing indefinitely a secret form of remuneration. All these reasons dwarf in the last and final complaint: Mutuals continued exacerbation of the ghost culture. Halloween is not on October 31st with Mutual, it is every day. In conclusion Mutual does not contribute to society or even the third sector, yet continues to remain an intruding shaft in the millennial dating culture. Recommendation I give to no one.
  • It no worky

My app just says I’ve run outta people every time I open it
  • Buggy app

    By Disnerd012
I don’t know if others have the sane issues but this app randomly gets buggy on me and keeps deleting my profile and deletes all my matches. I also paid for a month subscription and when I try to unlock the premium features, it says I have no access. I just started using this but if the issues still persist I might need to use a different app :(
  • One minute you have matches then poof?

This app is so glitchy it loses your data and everything else. They will take your money but not fix the glitches.
  • Works good but...

I think the features of the app are nice and work well. I only have a couple of pieces of criticism. One, I think the paid version of the app is too expensive. $8 a week is so much more than almost any other subscription service I’ve seen recently. Perhaps there are a lot of people willing to pay that much so because of supply and demand they’re able to keep the prices that high. However you really don’t get that much more for paying. Many of the people who would use this app are young and in college so likely can’t afford $8 per week. The other suggestion I have is to be able to view a list of people you have liked so you can send people messages. I like to sit and scroll through people but I might not be in the mood to start a chat until another time.
