  • Best travel app you can get

    By samkhayat
I just cannot consider anymore booking a flight, a hotel, a train, a car rental or even an event without uploading them on trip it. It keeps everything so well organized and updated. From gate change, delayed departure, to luggage belt pick up, it just constantly keeps you informed. It’s magic! Best app I have on my phone!!
  • Missing info with Pro subscription

    By Snoring Bulldog
I subscribed for a year to obtain some additional info about my trips, but none of what I needed seems available. The majority of European arports are missing (FRA, AMS, FCO to mention just 3). The time through security info seems available only for a bunch of US airports. SEA is missing. Info on alternative flight? A perpetual "Try again later." In the end, the subscription is giving me access to info that other apps offer at no cost (gate info, delays). So what actual value am I getting for the over $48+tax?

The best Application to plan a trip
  • App doesn’t work well with Southwest

    By Spin_Dr.
The TripIt app is good, but has a few flaws that needs to be addressed. First, it doesn’t play well with Southwest. One thing I hate is having to check-in on my flight for Southwest. The TripIt app used to paste my confirmation number into the Southwest checkin field. TripIt now opens the Southwest app and you have to go back to TripIt and copy your confirmation number and then go back to Southwest app to paste the confirmation number into the Southwest apps checkin field. This is a pain and not worth paying a premium. Secondly, gate change notices during my last flight where delivered 15 minutes after boarding my flight from Louisville to Los Vegas. If I wouldn’t have noticed a bunch of people get up and leave the gate I would have missed my flight.

My wife and I heavily rely on this app when traveling which is all the time. You can even set it up where TripIt scans your emails for confirmations then adds everything (flights, car rentals, Airbnb, etc) in the app automatically! I don’t know how we would manage traveling without TripIt. I highly recommend this app!
  • So far so good.

Down loaded on the recommendation of a friend. After figuring out that I didn’t need the email stuff it was a lot less frustrating. We will see as time goes on. After A year of use, this has been the most valuable tool in travel. The refund finder, paid for the app 3 time over. I till every one about this time saver.
